Supplier Training
Supplier training uses a hands-on approach to prepare suppliers for an eSourcing event. This training is taught from the supplier point of view and teaches the supplier the functionality required to participate in an eSourcing event and submit creative bidding effectively. Through a web-based session, students will be exposed to the following:
- Logging on
- Responding to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
- Bidding offline
Supplier training is available in two forms: a basic version that exposes students to the functionality described above, and an event-based version that customizes the content to reflect specific business processes and requirements as they apply to a specific event.

Training Planning
Emptoris provides a training planning service to help clients identify training needs and design appropriate training and employee development solutions.
Emptoris Education Consultants work with clients to analyze the client environment specific to the Emptoris solutions and design a customized training plan for their environment. Solutions are proposed in a three phased timeline. The plan identifies key areas to concentrate on; business process, training design and recommendations, and change management issues.
