Leading Industry Analyst Firm Gives Emptoris Positive Ratings for its Supply & Contract Management Suite

Burlington, MA – (March 17, 2008) – Emptoris, a leading provider of enterprise supply and contract management software, today announced that Gartner, Inc., a leading independent provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has released a research report examining the company and its solutions titled, “Vendor Rating: Emptoris.¹” The Gartner Vendor Rating gives the company and its solution suite an overall “positive” rating.

Gartner completed Vendor Rating Reports for three ERP and best-of-breed providers of supply and contract management solutions. The report evaluated, the Emptoris sourcing, spend analysis and sourcing solutions, among other solutions and aspects of the company. In July 2007, Gartner also rated Emptoris a "Strong Positive," the highest possible rating, in its "MarketScope for Contract Management Software, 2007" report. Gartner is also expected to issue its “Magic Quadrant” report for the supply and contract management industry in the third quarter of 2008.
