Global Hotel Sourcing
	A Global 100 pharmaceutical leader uses Emptoris to source over $80 million an annual hotel spending. Over 2 ½ weeks, a 3-person team was able to conduct 95 auctions and 113 electronic sealed bids (in markets with sole or few suppliers). In total, they negotiated with 1,226 hotels across 30 countries. They evaluated bids not only on price but also on guarantees of last room availability and 6:00 p.m. check-in.
