Event Monitoring & Support

Our Event Monitoring & Support service ensures successful execution of auctions run using Emptoris Sourcing. For subscribers of the service, Emptoris Support Specialists will manage the tactical responsibilities associated with live auctions. The Event Monitoring & Support service has been successfully implemented for multiple clients across a wide variety of industries.

As part of the Event Monitoring & Support service, our team of specialists will:

• Review the auction setup and design to gain familiarity with the event structure
• Conduct web-based supplier training
• Ensure suppliers are logged in and have accepted the event invitation 15 minutes prior to the event open time
• Reset supplier passwords, if required
• Perform surrogate bidding, if required
• Perform the following activities and communicate changes to suppliers when requested by the Client Auction Manager:
  - Pause event
  - Invalidate bids (and provide associated supplier communication)
  - Extend event
  - Implement design changes during the event such as supplier
    data visibility

The Event Monitoring & Support services, offered by our consulting team, is designed to support multiple languages and includes one Web-based supplier training for each event.
